"Enjoyable"
I liked this book, but I couldn't help being a little disappointed after first reading the novella that leads into this book. The novella told the story from both characters point of review, this book only told the story from woman's side.
"One of the Best!!"
Loved the two narrators. Loved this erotic love story because both characters are strong, educated, and not too damaged. The hot love scenes are throughout the story.
"Repetition, repeat, repetition"
I am not sure if the author thought her readers couldn't remember what the story was about, or if she needed to remind herself. I have never read or listened to a book that repeated and repeated what had already happened. I get that most romance books are not great literature, but its readers are not dim witted.
The sex scenes are hot, but again the scenes are rehashed. First from his point of review, then her point of review and then again.
I have enjoyed Lora Leigh's other books, but this one made me crazy.
"Love this series"
This is a short story that seems to take place before "The Siren". A very exciting listen. Very hot. Kingsley is sex!
Audible please bring "Little Red Riding Crop" and "Seven Day Loan" to the Audible collection -- while we wait for the 4th book in the series "The Mistress".
"Love Conner - Love the "girls""
The story and vanilla sex is this story worked for me. But what really worked for me was when all five Sweet Series women got together. The pool scene was a huge LOL for me. Ms. Banks - please keep them coming.
"Wow! Can this series get any better?"
This is a great listen. Parts of the story will make you squirm in your seat (or bed), but that just makes it better. Different narrator than the first book. Took me less than 5 minutes to get use to the new voice. Both books in the series will take you away, making is hard to turn them off. Both narrators were great.
"Is there a story here?"
Lots of one-on-one sex. The story line is very weak and the characters are not very believable. The only reason I was able to finish listening was because it was short. This is likely to be my last book by this author.
"The best yet of this series"
The sex is so hot. Shayla writes so that you really care about the characters. I love, love this series. How long do we have to wait for Book 5 to come out in audio?
"don't buy this."
The narrator is awful. Flat voice. I couldn't listen to any more after 10 minutes.
"Gwenhwyfar is just to stomach!"
The character of Gwenhwyfar is far too whining. She goes on and on about what she should or shouldn't do. She is such an unlikable character, that she actually spoils the book for me. If I was reading this book, I would skip to the next chapter, but with an audio book you can't do this. I am not sure if I will even finish this book or the series.
