"Hilariuos"
I laughed my head off. And made the mistake of trying to listen to a meditation audiobook later on. I could not stop laughing. Franken has hit the nail on the head here.
For those who don't like his politics... forget that stuff, this is just a good time with his Stuart Smalley character. I liked how he worked the audio presentation into the presentation. It wasn't just Franken reading from his book.
"historical history"
A history written long ago that is history itself. Can't get much more historical than that.
If you focus on the bigger picture of what is happening and not bother to try to remember all the names or who they are sons of then it is pretty easy to follow, even when driving in heavy traffic in bad weather. Listening to this you get an idea of the different dynamics of the various city-states and the details on the war. Highly recommended for folks who like ancient history.
"a bio and a (partial) novel"
An excellent collection of Adams writings, speeches and the unfinished final novel. This book really does a great job capturing the man behind the lunacy. A highly recommended book!
