When I listened to the first book INTO THE BLACK, I was Hoping for a second one. It NEEDED a 2nd book. Then it came. I was NOT disapointed at all. Lots of Ground Action, and GREAT Space Battles! There will have to be a 3rd book and if we're lucky many more!

This is book 3 in the series but it't ending leaves alot of holes in the story. I typed in Cobra at Audible and to my surprise I found 3 more books...NOT the first trigoly..Cobra EVENT, Cobra STRIKE and Cobra SLAVE...But when I clicked on the title it kepted saying No Mach. There must be some sort of match becasuse it was in the Audible search drop down box. Audible GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!

When the colony worlds Adirondack and Silvern fell to the Troft forces almost without a struggle. Outnumbered and on the defensive, Earth made a desperate decision. It would attack the aliens not from space, but on the ground with forces the Trofts did not even suspect. Thus were created the Cobras, a guerilla force whose weapons were surgically implanted, invisible to the unsuspecting eye, yet undeniably deadly. And the Moreau family were the most famous of the Cobra warriors.

This book isn't bad to listen to. It held my atension, but it always seemed to be leading up to something action packed that never happened. It had some action but not what the name Cobra implies. The narration is very good, thats is what kept me listening. I'm just starting to listen to book 2 Cobra Strike. I hope it has more then the first book. Now don't get me wrong about this book. It's not a bad book, not by a long shot. I was just hoping for some nail biting action!

The three fledgling human colonies in the Eden System are beginning to take hold, but the forces threatening to root them out are many. The Crustaceans are calling for help, despite the fact they are the sworn enemies of Star Force. Are they potential allies, or vicious tricksters? And why are the oceans of their world heating up?

This is another super book in this series. BUT Mr. Larson realy pissed me off! He killed off a main person in the series and didn't have to. Their were many ways arround it. I'm not going to be a spoiler and say who or male or female. But Mr. Larson if you are getting a headache that's because I'm sticking pins in my B V Larson doll... Other then that a super book, leading to the next book that seems would be action packed. I can't wait!!

But in this war of worlds, victory is always elusive. And now a new battle begins. After 20 years of peace, not one but two fragile truces are unraveling. Alexander Koenig, the former Navy commander whose heroics forced the Sh'daar into submission, has won a second term as President of the United States of North America. Boss loves to dive historical ships, derelict spacecraft found adrift in the blackness between the stars. Sometimes she salvages for money, but mostly she's an active historian. She wants to know about the past--to experience it firsthand. Once she's dived the ship, she'll either leave it for others to find or file a claim so that she can bring tourists to dive it as well. It's a good life for a tough loner, with more interest in artifacts than people.
