"Good Sci-fi"
This book is really fast paced and it jumped around from space to planets side to atmospheric air combat, and this actually turned out to be just right to grab my attention and hold it for 90% of the book. All of the battles are very well described and you can tell he in very interested in physics just like a lot of great Sci-Fi writers.
I had picked this book up on a whim because Roger Macbride Allen's Star Wars books are some of my favorites and this book didn't disappoint. Even tho i wouldn't say it is as good as the "Corellian Trilogy", but it is still a good action packed military Science fiction adventure.
"Book 4 Butlerian Jihad series"
Read: "The Butlerian Jihad, The Machine Crusade, The Battle of Corrin" . first and you should love this one almost as much. It Starts 90Years or so after "The Battle of Corrin"
I did not re-read them before i read this one and i picked up all the plot lines pretty fast, but it couldn't hurt to re-read or listen to the 3 books at take place prior to "Sisterhood of Dune". However id also Suggest to anyone new to the dune universe to read at least the original "Dune" before reading any of the new ones.
"Wonderful"
Great book cant wait to read the next one, almost as Dune. Kevin J and Brain Herbert have out done themselves. These books have so much background material, its as vast a world as Star Wars or Lord of The Rings.
"Great All Around"
There was one bad review on this book, but i got it anyway cause it was the genera i was looking for, and i could be happier. Great book if you like Roman historical fiction, and its always more entertaining when it is based off a real event.
"Good Book, Love the Frank Compton Books"
Great books id give it a 5 but i think Night Train to Rigel (the first of the 3 Frank Compton Books) Was the best of the 3 Ive Read. But anything Timothy Zahn Gets and instant 4 at least
