    Bought this book because I was looking for something a bit different and because it had good reviews. Didn't really know what to expect so was a little surprised with the story line and setting.

    Basically it's about a bunch of African American rappers and gangsters in Brooklyn and Harlem. Found it to be insightful into that way of life and was well written and narrated.

    Overall it was enjoyable but I wouldn't rush out and buy another book along these lines simply because it's not my favourite genre. If you like this type of setting you'll enjoy this book.
