Now, as her abilities continue to grow, Allison meets a very strange woman who reveals a starling secret to her. Life, for Allison Lopez, is about to get even stranger... and more fantastic.

Where does The Witch and the Gentleman rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It won a place among my keepers!

What did you like best about this story?

The story carried on wonderfully without giving the big surprise towards the end away. Don't want to spoil it for those who have not listened to it yet. Let's say, nothing is what it appears to be.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The reunion of Father and Daughter.

  • God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything

In the tradition of Bertrand Russell's Why I Am Not a Christian and Sam Harris' recent best-seller, The End of Faith, Christopher Hitchens makes the ultimate case against religion. With a close and erudite reading of the major religious texts, he documents the ways in which religion is a man-made wish, a cause of dangerous sexual repression, and a distortion of our origins in the cosmos.

    Any additional comments?

I always encourage writing that points out reasons to think for yourself. I would have liked the book better however if it was half as long. Mr. Hitchens has a tendency to repeat himself a lot.
There comes a point when a good argument becomes a rant. He crossed that line.
