Really a wonderful story. I laughed and cried (lucky for me I have a long commute and the sad part was at the beginning so I was able to compose myself before work!) I am a dog person so I really connected with the author's story, but I think that anybody would enjoy the story. The author narrates which gives it a more personal approach. I loved it!!!

This was not what I expected from the book. THe title and most of the story line makes you think that the main character is going to be the victim but then towards the end there is the real victim exposed. I couldn't stop listening to the book because of its dramatic nature but it really did not give me a whole lot to work with in the end.

This book is kind of hard at times because of its heavy material. There are not a lot of pleasant moments in the book but it is wonderfully written and it is clear why it has been on the best sellers list for so long.

I am a big Lance fan and enjoyed the book. It made me respect him even more by listening to all of the hardships he experience. The only disappointing aspect was the fact that he did not narrate the book himself. The narrator was a disappointment.

I loved this book. Not for the actual story which was entertaining but for the ending. I can normally see something coming, but this was straight out of left field. I would recommend this to anyone just so they could be surprised by the ending!

This is my first experience with the author so I wasn't sure what to expect. I wasn't disappointed. I did look forward to getting in the car and listening to it because there was a pretty good amount of suspense involved. But, I found it a little predictable and thought the ending was a little flat.

It was an unexpected story from this author. I read her first book "P.S. I love you" a couple years ago and loved it. And then skipped her second book "Rosie Dunne" because of the style. I picked up this one because I really like the first and was surprised that there was a fantasy element to it. However, it was a good development of characters and I found it fun and easy to listen to. Good narration. I would recommend for an easy read.

I like Cooper and saw him on Oprah promoting this book and was prompted to buy it. I think that it was ok, but I didn't finish it. I got a little bored with the stories, but I am sure that an adventure lover would enjoy it.

PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!! The absolute worst book that I have ever wasted my time on. Completely pointless story with a very stupid concept, flat characters and horrible ending. I beg you not to listen to this book and waste the valuable hours that it will take!!!! PLEASE!!!

I absolutely loved this book. I find his writing very entertaining with great descriptions. I loved almost everything about this book. I would love to meet the author. If you like this book, I would recommend "Into the Wild" another of his novels.
