In the heart of Italy, Harvard professor of symbology, Robert Langdon, is drawn into a harrowing world centered on one of history’s most enduring and mysterious literary masterpieces: Dante’s Inferno. Against this backdrop, Langdon battles a chilling adversary and grapples with an ingenious riddle that pulls him into a landscape of classic art, secret passageways, and futuristic science. Drawing from Dante’s dark epic poem, Langdon races to find answers and decide whom to trust...before the world is irrevocably altered.

What made the experience of listening to Inferno the most enjoyable?

The narrator at least makes a really boring and slow story bearable.

Has Inferno turned you off from other books in this genre?

Inferno is very different from the previous Dan Brown books. It is extremely slow and lacks the constant action and suspense evident in his previous books. This book was an effort to go through, and I couldn't wait for it to end.

Which character – as performed by Paul Michael – was your favorite?

Robert Langdon .. Though he was boring in this book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not at all, you can't listen to more than 30min without becoming bored. I fell asleep, several times listening to this book as the story was so slow. Do not listen while driving :-)

    Any additional comments?

This book is a big disappointment to me for a Dan Brown book. I loved all his previous books, but this one lacked the action, mystery and suspense you found in his previous books. Very disappointed.
