If you are a totally self absorbed person then this book will help you. Otherwise, if you naturally pick up on body language and sence how someone is feeling this book is a waste of time. I didn't get anything helpful out of it. Wasted credit.
The woman's voice is not soft and mellow but too high pitched to relax well. Too much chit chat about relaxing and chit chat in general before getting to the actual "meat" of this recording, like the first 20 min is talking then another 10-15 of relaxing. Hardly any background music, too much plain talking. Your asked to open your eyes half way through this track which seems to defeat the purpose of zoning things out.
Not getting to the actual hypnosis before boring me to death.
Voice, lack of music, too much explanation.
I will try to edit the tracks removing all the nonsence parts (90% of the content) with my editing software to make a track I can actually use. I do agree that the actual hypnosis part has good content, it's just getting to it! If your new to hypnosis and need lots of instruction you may like this.
Stick with eric brown for hypnosis, easy to listen to. I just wish he sold bundles like this. Paul McKenna also has great tracks but not sold on audible.
I've been a binge eater for probably 10 years now. After 2 weeks of this CD I noticed that I really lost my emotional attatchment to food, food just became a means of nourishment, nothing else. I've not binged since listening to it over the 21 days and even now that I'm not listening to it the urge to binge has gone. I have had the urge to binge during the first 2 weeks of listening but I was actually able to recognize the onset of the binge, slow down my thoughts and talk myself out of it. Never have I been able to do that in 10 years. I can't say I'm "cured" but it's been 2 or 3 months and I no longer binge. It works!
After about day 14 of listening to this I started having dreams of past lives. Kinda cool. Love how it gives you a great night's sleep. Another weird thing it allowed me to do was my subconscious would leave a song in my head upon waking up, like a message for my conscious brain. Once I started paying attention to and writing down the song each day I saw it reflected something in my current day that would happen or how I was truly feeling but not able to admit to myself. Some songs started fortelling the future. For example, one morning I got the old song "stand by me" then later that day I got a job offer for something out of town which my husband was clearly not happy with. However, he ended up "standing by me." Interpret that how you may but I find it more than a coincidence.
