...well not really, but by the end of this book you will think he is.

I have read other reviews and people were let down. I was not. Yes the plot can be frustrating but that's because you are suffering along with the characters and that's never fun but that's part of the story. Suffering, longing, lingering.... yearning. If you wanted these two to grow up and get off the roller coaster ride than this next step had to be taken. Well not exactly LIKE this but that's what makes for a good read and a good book.

I have to say, I am enjoying this way more than... 50 who? :)

And I still believe Jill Redfield makes this audio soooo worth it. I can't imagine someone else reading this story to me. She is still perfect and delivers exactly what I needed.

I am completely satisfied after reading these two books and now.... just waiting on the third. Tick Tock, hurry UP! :)

I really felt like the author just wanted this series to be over. I guess she exited the best way she could. I don't mind the character she ends up being in love with, but this book could have been way more exciting than what it was.

That being said, I have loved the series, loved the narrator of the whole series. If your like me, your going to have to read it just because it's the last one. But don't expect fire works because those move to Oklahoma.

Au revoir to Sookie Stackhouse and the gang. I really wish she became a vampire and started an whole new series. But... that does not happen. :/

First off the narration was horrible for this book. So I had to imagine reading the lines myself to give the book feeling. The narrator sounds like a robot. I couldn't tell when we went from past to present. The words were all monotone, except in the male voices. But still, the jumping back and forth was lost on me because I couldn't hear the change that you probably can see in the actual book.

That being said, I still kind of liked the book but hated it at the same time. I think the author had a great story line, it was just hard to follow the fact that the main character lost her mother and that tragedy was not conveyed very well. Nikki is gone for 6 months and when she reappears, it's all blamed on her being a drug addict. I am sorry, but if my kid were gone for 6 months, I wouldn't care if they were on drugs. I would be so happy at their return that I would be more involved in their life. This was the opposite. The dad just didn't seem to have enough to do with her. Her family ties do not feel strong at all yet it was her mothers death and her boyfriends so called betrayal that sent her into the Underneath.

I do not know anything about the author but I felt like the story was written by my 14 year old daughter. Who spends to much time on details that do not matter and not enough on those that do. I felt myself giving up several times and thinking, "Get to the point". But then we all have to remember this is a book for YA and they may like the details of this book.

I am still undecided if I want to venture on to the second book. I started this series because this book was on sale as part of getting interest in new series. I am not hooked enough to care about what happens in the second book. Maybe I will wait till the third one has released before investing anymore time in this series.

Lauren Oliver knows your going to be on edge to see what happened to Lena and Alex. Instead of giving it to you in one big dose, she makes you sit and listen as Lena's adventures jump from the present to the past. From then when she first got over the wall to now.

It might be hard at first to hang in there because really, it's your unending desire to get to the point that makes you want her to just tell you, but you learn about the life she has endured after crossing the wall. It's not a book that picks up right as she enters the wilds, but is almost a year down the road and how she has survived with the death of Alex. How she must go on without him.

But then there is Julian, a new character who can't be cured and wants to be until a set of events pair Lena and Julian together. Without her knowledge Lena is used as a pawn in a game of politics. She leaves one society only to be caught up in another that is full of fight , war and survival. Just as hard as the world she left. But she is free, she is uncured. Her choices are her own and she is free to love again.

Pandemonium is an excellent follow up to Delirium. I jumped from one book to the next, I am so happy the complete series is out because I get to finish the whole series in one week.

This was my first listen with Lauren Oliver and the book is great but the narration is outstandingly done. You get a very close actual feel for the characters, for their pain and longing. Excellent job Sarah Drew!

I loved how this book reminded me of what it's like to be a young adult. Growing up believing that the system put in place is to protect you, for your own good. Then as pedals from a rose are picked away you begin to grow and see that not everyone is telling you the truth. Not everyone cares about your protection, they only care about the power they have over you.

This book is that type of dystopian world where of all things, Love is a disease and you have to be cured of it. If you are not, you are a sick and diseased person who can't be relied to make good choices, those choices are taken from you when you are cured. If you are cured you are a good citizen and allowed to be part of the world that is functional.

But not everyone is cured. Not everyone wants it.

What I appreciate about this book most is the comparison to old literature. How society has re-written old stories so that people will not want to love and they are scared into obeying. The bible is even rewritten as the book of "Shhhhhh". So it keeps you on your toes trying to remember the same stories you grew up with and how they differ in this book.

Delirium is well worth the credit.

A very good series that has a spin that keeps you coming back for more.

Once again the dialog between characters was difficult as it seemed they never get to the point but continue to talk in circles like everyone assumes everyone knows what is going on. Other than that I found the book delightful.

Wendy is faced with the loss of her mother, the overbearing force of her farther killing off her kingdom and trying to please people who have no faith in her. Making sacrifices is not easy when the mass is not on her side. But running away is not an option anymore and she tries to figure out how to save her kingdom without the loss of life to her people.

Most the time there is a dip in book 2 in series. There is a bit of story that is needed to fill the gap. But "Torn" was definitely an improvement to the series.

Wendy is forced away from her human home and taken to another kingdom where she finds that her dad is indeed not dead. Though stunned and happy to find out she has a father, she quickly learns that what he wants her to do with her life was no better than what she left when she ran from her mother.

Rescued and taken home, she is now even more entangled in what she must do to save the kingdom her mother has protected and the lives she has come to know. Now torn between two loves and a man she doesn't love but is obligated to marry, her life is just a bit messy for a princess.

If your between series and need to pass the time, this series was a good in between.

At first I didn't know if I was going to like the character since it's starts off as her being a young and demanding child. But the story eventually explains her anger issues.

I found the dialog between characters a bit dragging and felt like they talked in circles instead of getting to the point. I wanted to reach out and strangle them myself.

But in the end I found it to be a very good book as Wendy adventures out to find out who and what she truly is and ensnared by her family lineage into giving up her way of life for her people.

Loved the Narrator.

I had no idea the book was even out there until the movie previews. I just didn't go searching through Meyer's book looking for something so note worthy. I have a respect for the author I didn't have before. Do not "categorize" her just as a teen romance writer.

The book is totally unexpected, right out of the invaders side of the story instead of just the human side and point of view. It gives you a real feel of what hope really could be if we lived in their world and ours. Redefines what kindness and self-sacrifice is.

Amazing book. Totally loved it and the narrator hit a home run with me!

I made myself listen to this whole book. I purchased it so I was going to listen! It was a battle. Not the narrators fault.

It was just to soft for me. The book is cute but the way the men act in this book towards her is unreal. This book should be under fantasy and not just romance. I felt like I was reading a teenagers brain.

I love these books. I love the detail she puts into the characters and the time period in which the story takes place. I love how eventually all the books weave together.

This series is great, I am kind of sad there are only 3 books in the Infernal Devices.

These books have a mystery reminiscent of Sherlock Holmes yet the excitement of
the characters we know from her other books. Very true to the error they live in, Clare does another series justice.

I was intrigued and I can't wait for the last book of this series.
