Summer break . . . and the livin' ain't easy! Just because the students at New York College have flown the coop doesn't mean assistant residence hall director Heather Wells can relax. Fischer Hall is busier than ever, filled with squealing thirteen- and fourteen-year-old girls attending the first ever Tania Trace Teen Rock Camp, hosted by pop sensation Tania Trace herself - who just happens to be newly married to Heather's ex-boyfriend, heartthrob Jordan Cartwright. But the real headache begins when the producer of a reality TV show starring Tania winds up dead . . .

I've listened to the three previous Heather Wells mysteries and really enjoyed them. I was excited to hear there was another and immediately downloaded it. I was not disappointed. It took me awhile to get used to the reader, but after a period of adjustment, it worked for me.

I liked that we learn more about Heather and Copper's relationship and their relationship with his family, which includes Jordan Cartwright, Heather's ex and Cooper's brother and Tania Trace, the woman who broke up Heather and Jordan.

It was worth the use of my credit and I will listen to it again!

For Lieutenant Eve Dallas of the NYPSD, the job is a useful reminder of what she has to be grateful for this season. Hosting Roarke's big Irish family for the holiday may be challenging, but it’s a joyful improvement on her own dark childhood. Other couples aren’t as lucky as Eve and Roarke. The Reinholds, for example, are lying on the floor of their Downing Street apartment, stabbed and bludgeoned almost beyond recognition. Those who knew them are stunned - and even more heartbroken by the overwhelming evidence that they were murdered by their own son.

I love the "In Death Series" and I've been waiting impatiently for this one. I loved hearing from Nixie and many of the other favorites. I just wish there had been more interaction with Eve and her friends and less of the killer in this story.

He was completely unlikeable and got way too much book time. I was glad Eve finally got him, but it took to long, especially since he wasn't very good.

I loved the award ceremony and the holiday dinner. I'm looking forward to the next book. I'll keep reading them as they come. This wasn't my favorite story, but it wasn't the worst, so I'm good.

I think Susan Ericksen is the best narrator. I just can't imagine any else voicing Eve and cast. As long as she's reading I'm listening. Keep them coming!

Paranormal private eye. Grim reaper extraordinaire. Whatever. Charley Davidson is back in Darynda Jones' Third Grave Dead Ahead! And she’s drinking copious amounts of caffeine to stay awake because, every time she closes her eyes, she sees him: Reyes Farrow, the parthuman, part-supermodel son of Satan. Yes, she did imprison him for all eternity, but come on.

This is a great work of fiction and should be read as such. Nothing serious, just fun. I really enjoyed the story. I can't wait for her next book.
