The first volume of a trilogy, Dutch follows the criminal career of street hood James Bernard Jr., a.k.a. Dutch. Even while stealing cars, Dutch knew he was destined for more, and it wasn’t long before he saw his chance to seize power in New Jersey. Now a Jersey kingpin, Dutch is coming under fire from an upstart DA—but it won’t be easy to take down this streetwise criminal.

"Excellent Book with lots of action!"

I just finished listening to this book, and wow! If you love gangster/mob type movies and/or books--then get this one. Ezra did a wonderful job nnarratoring this book. Since I love courtroom dramas, this book was excellent as it takes place in a courtroom, but flashes back to other events that happened. Ready to read the sequel.

Aminata Diallo is the beguiling heroine of Lawrence Hill's Someone Knows My Name. In it, Hill exquisitely imagines the tale of an 18th-century woman's life, spanning six decades and three continents. The fascinating story that Hill tells is a work of the soul and the imagination. Aminata is a character who will stir listeners, from her kidnapping from Africa through her journeys back and forth across the ocean.

This book was powerful, and although over 18 hours long--it will keep your attention the entire time. The author wrote this book as if painting an oil painting--you could easily formulate the scenes in your mind, and the narrator is well gifted.

Best book I have listened to since the Book of Night Women.

This titillating expose chronicles the personal and professional adventures of this tabloid-laden socialite, dispelling some rumors, while confirming others. Diaries unveils the heavily shrouded Hollywood backrooms and its coveted secrets. Offering her ardent fans answers to burning questions and presenting lessons learned, this book will surely not disappoint.

I don't judge Karrine for her past--as we all have one whether to her level or not. In this book, she does seem to have grown and evolved a bit, but for reading purposes--it was quite slow and somewhat boring. I am finding it hard to finish reading it as it is just not as interesting as her last book. So in other words, there is not story line that keeps you wanting to keep going forward with the book.

This book was awesome! I have become such a fan of EJD and always look forward to reading/hearing anything that he has written. I absolutely loved ALL of the characters in this book, and want to see Gideon come back again and again!

This is the 1st part of a 4-part series, and it kept you going with the story, on edge, and wanting more and more the entire time. One reader complained about the sex scenes (which there were a lot), but I found them to be very entertaining, and even gave me a few ideas for my husband---which he wasn't complaining either!

By the way, the narrator was great, and I always look forward to his performances.
