A sophisticated, pause-resistant double love story spanning 40 years - an unforgettable Brief Encounter for our times. It is 1960. When Jennifer Stirling wakes up in the hospital, she can remember nothing - not the tragic car accident, not her husband, not even who she is. She feels like a stranger in her own life until she stumbles upon an impassioned letter, signed simply "B", asking her to leave her husband. Years later, a journalist named Ellie discovers the same enigmatic letter in a forgotten file in her newspaper's archives....

Would you consider the audio edition of The Last Letter from Your Lover to be better than the print version?

No, I think it's easier to follow with the print version and there are little paragraphs at the start of every chapter that you miss out on when listening to the audio.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jennifer, the way it was spoken truly captured how I thought she would sound.

What does Susan Lyons bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

More depth to the characters. The slight change invoices.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    no

    Any additional comments?

I'm not sure I am reading a different published edition to this book but some of the words & sentience structures slightly change through out the audio book compared to the print.
