"Disappointing and slow"
very slow moving. Not much action
yes, Normally I love his books
yes
many of the planning ones.
I normally love the John Corey books and all of Nelson DeMille's books. This book just seemed to have lots of narrative and very little action.
"Love it"
Yes, Enjoy the characters, story keeps moving, great entertainment
Virgil Flowers. He has grown on me with each book. I look forward to this series
Yes and excellent
"Very disappointing"
Story was slow and not compelling. Didn't care about the characters.
Kyra Davis, John Sandford
Anyone Else
Not worth the money.
"Disappointed"
I look to James Patterson for light escapism but I have to echo the people who gave this book a thumbs down. Never felt very connected to the character, too preposterous and the narrator and cheesy music were over the top bad.
I still get sucked into some of Patterson's series but will definitely be avoiding the collaberations.
Not worth your time.
"okay"
I enjoy listening to the Alex Cross books. Have heard them all. I was also disappointed with the new narrator. It felt like he was rushing it. And the book wasn't that long I couldn't figure out why.
By the very end I was used to him but the narration was definitely worse than in previous books. The book was ok. I don't expect too much from Patterson books anymore as he churns them out so quickly. But quick entertainment is what I expected and what I got.
"I listened to it twice"
I've always been an Archer fan but this story kept me wanting to hear more. I'd find reasons to go places because I listen in my car.
Loved the narrator and the characters, kept my attention the entire time!
