I have no idea. It was such a completely irritating storyline that I don't think it could have been made any better.

This story is terrible. I was hoping I would like it because all of my friends are totally into the 50 Shades of Grey books. I started listening with high hopes, but the story turns out to be like so many other erotic stories I have read with a lead female character who is a virgin, and completely sexually inexperienced, and who finds the man of her dreams in a very wealthy, highly controlling and emotionally unavailable man. It's like I've read this storyline before.

Christian Grey is not only controlling, he's a total freak in the bedroom. He also has to have written consent to control his submissives; basically gaining written consent to hurt them. I was totally turned off by the description of Christian Grey. His playroom is completely ridiculous. I was also turned off by the fact that he is supposedly in his 20s and has amassed a massive wealth and is also able to fly a helicopter. He pretty much has everything he wants in the world. It's like he's superman, and I'm supposed to be turned on by that fact. It's such a ludicrous storyline. I found myself wanting to strangle Christian Grey. I also found myself wanting to smack some sense in to Anastasia Steele. The story is just too silly to be even remotely interesting.

The person who read the book sounded like a teenager. She was hard to listen to.

This book made me disapointed, and then that reaction turned into disgust.

I'm no prude. I read a lot of erotic fiction. This book was just terrible.
