What a book! This is a great example of a classic horror/thriller novel. "Psycho" will pull you in from the start even if you have already seen the movie and know what to expect. The story is detailed, holds your attention and is easy to follow. The narrator did a great job and really added to the suspense. I admit, I got chills during certain parts. Things just get crazier and crazier as you move along. This is definitely a fun and exciting listen.

“Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” is quite the story set in a post-apocalyptic near future. This book raises so many questions and leaves you with even more questions at the end of it all. In my opinion, that is why this book is so great! It is a constant examination of what it means to be human and moral and it really makes you think. The themes truly hold your attention. Scott Brick did a decent job with the narration. My only issue is that I found it to be too slow. I increased the playback rate and ended up listening to this all on 3x speed. Aside from that, the performance was great. This is and always will be a great science fiction novel.

I found this book to go pretty much down the middle. There were parts that were quite humorous and then I found parts that the book could have done without. Her story is interesting, but I would have preferred if she had gone further into a couple of her more personal issues. I imagine that details were omitted to keep the story cheerful. Having the author read her own work is a huge plus. Overall, this was a funny and light read. Finally, if you make it to the end, you are in for a big surprise that will make you want to listen to this book all over again! Warning: Please read responsibly.

I saw and read a number of other reviews full of 5-Star ratings and thought well this many people can't be wrong. Then I saw a few reviews here and there that weren't as nice. I am happy that I got this book because it was enjoyable. I thought that the performance was very good. The narrator did a great job all around. The voice for the father was my favorite and I found it to be quite humorous. The story was interesting. Interesting how this book was basically a continuation from twitter. You can tell there is a father and son bond. Other than that, I didn't see much to the story. Just more one-liners from the father. I did enjoy this book and found it to be funny at parts. I don't understand how the reviews are at such extremes though. In my opinion, this is just average. That being said, I would still recommend this to others.

Snow White and the Huntsman falls towards the middle of the scale for me. I enjoyed the action scenes but found myself zoning out for other parts. It’s definitely an interesting interpretation of the classic tale. I liked that the story is darker, but I was hoping for more. The narrator did well and I enjoyed their portrayal of Snow White, the Huntsman, and Ravenna. I would still recommend this title to others even though I didn’t really enjoy it myself. Just not my cup of tea.

Yes, I would have to agree and say that the audio version is better than the print version. The print is obviously a classic but the audio form really gives this story life. This edition of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is amazing.

There is something about the oblivious personality of the scarecrow that has made this character my favorite. He believes he has no brains, yet he constantly thinks of solutions for many of the issues the group encounters. Anne Hathaway does a great job giving each character a voice. If I had to select a character based on the vocal performance I would still select the scarecrow although the lion is a close second.

Anne Hathaway did a wonderful job as the narrator. She was able to bring a number of characters to life and as you listen you can hear that each character has a distinct voice. This is a wonderful performance and very entertaining.

I forgot why the winged monkeys are slaves to the golden cap. It is a shame that creatures that were once carefree are now under the spell of this magical cap.

I would have to rank this book towards the top of my list. I have been a fan of Kevin Smith for a while and enjoy the work he produces. This book isn't too different from other podcasts but it is still a very good listen.

I really enjoy when Kevin Smith quotes Walter Gretzky, father or Wayne Gretzky. I forget the quote but it mentions that a great hockey player plays where the puck is going to be and not where the puck is currently located. I think that is pretty good advice. If it worked for the Gretzky family and Kevin Smith then it can work for me too, right?

I have listened to podcasts, q&a, and I have watched his movies. His movies are classics. You are missing out if you haven't watched his work. This book is similar to the podcasts and q&a.

I didn't plan to listen to this all in one sitting but I can easily picture myself finishing the book in one day.

Kevin Smith does a great job with this book. He is a good narrator and he does offer pretty good advice. I would recommend this book for anyone.

I enjoyed keeping a checklist next to me while listening to this book. I would find myself laughing and agreeing with certain parts and questioning why I didn't agree with other sections. Being able to compare myself with others was a way to keep this book funny and engaging.

I believe it was #80 on the list. White people like the idea of soccer. "Many white people will tell you that they are very into soccer. But be careful, it’s a trap." I found this to be hilarious.

I have not listened to anything else by Victor Bevine but I am thinking that I will listen to A Nail Through The Heart: A Poke Rafferty Thriller

I did find myself laughing at a number of sections but I wouldn't say that my reactions were extreme.

Overall it was entertaining. I'll admit that there were parts when I started to zone out though.

Robert Petkoff does a great job with this book. He really captures the character perfectly. After I listened to the first book, Beat The Reaper, I knew I was coming back for the second one just because he is the narrator.

I would recommend it because it is part of a series. However, if I was going to suggest one book, I wouldn't recommend this one. Beat The Reaper set the bar high and Wild Thing falls short.

I really enjoy Robert Petkoff as Peter Brown. He really brings the character to life and he is one of the reasons I decided to continue on with Wild Thing. Stephanie Wolfe also does a great job with her character and I like what she adds to the book.

Once again I must say Robert Petkoff as Peter Brown. The character is bold and in your face. Petkoff brings this characters story to life and Peter Brown's story is quite the thrill ride.

Another great performance but the story falls short.

Beat the Reaper definitely made it into the top 10. Quite possibly even the top 5.

Beat the Reaper is the first book I have listened to in this genre so I can't really say for sure what I would compare it to. I am listening to the second book in the series, Wild Thing.

Everything! Robert Petkoff really captures the character and brings this story to life. I honestly believe that he fit this role perfectly. Robert Petkoff and anything mafia is pure gold.

I wouldn't say extreme but I did find some parts to be humorous. There were also parts that were quite graphic and as I visualized them I would shudder.

A great listen and perfect narrator.
