"Enjoyed It!"
I've listened to other books in this series, but never this early one; I think this was the second book in the series. They had it on sale so I got it, and I'm so glad I did! I really enjoyed it. I can see why the series has gone on so long. It kept me guessing right to the end.
"Funny, Romance & Great Mystery"
Kyra Davis and her Sophie Katz character didn't let me down with this installment, because once again I was laughing out loud and guessing "who did it" right up 'til the end. I've been a fan of this series since the beginning and this book has only made me long for the next installment. She's really developing the depth of the characters as she goes along. I would definitely recommend this book if you're a fan of romance with a light mystery. I just LOVED it!
"All I can say is Wow"
I have since finished the entire book and all I can say is "Wow". How does she do it??? This is the 10th book in the series and I was rivited!!!
"Yeah! It's finally released!!!"
I absolutely love, love, love this series and based on the excerpt this latest installment is not going to let me down!! If you haven't yet given this series a try, I have to tell you that you need to. They are a great read/listen because the mystery will keep you guessing until the end while you are laughing out loud at the characters, with a little dash of romance thrown in for good measure. What more do you want from a "Take me away and lighten my day" read?! If you enjoy Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, then you would love the Sophie Katz series. It definitely has its own style, but it's just as good, and you would enjoy it just as much.
"Not as good as Book 1, but still good"
I really enjoyed the first book in this series, so naturally I wanted to try the next book. Turns out that it wasn't as good as the first one, but still enjoyable. I will probably continue on with this series, but it's not in my top 5, so maybe not.
"Love the accents!"
I really enjoyed this book. The accents are just great and the mystery keeps you guessing until the end! Great listen!!!
"Just okay"
I wasn't especially impressed with this book. It was ok and had some amusing parts, but overall it was JUST ok.
"Good idea, but took a while to get going"
I've never listened/read any of this author's work before, but I really liked the title and it was on sale for $4.95. I love when Audible does that because I'm willing to try someone new for $5! This book has an interesting storyline idea, but it took awhile to get going. Once it did, I liked it. Wasn't great, but I might try one more book in the series before writing it off.
"Good, but not his best"
I'm a huge Stone Barrington fan, and I am always eagerly awaiting his next adventure, so naturally I snapped up Lucid Intervals right away. While I did enjoy the book, it's definitely not one of his best. The previous "Hot Mahogany" and "Kisser" were much better, but still a good listen.
"Really liked it!"
I will confess that I am a huge Stone Barrington fan, and this book didn't disappoint me. Some reviewers didn't find it to be anything special, but for me, it flew by and I found myself laughing out loud and guessing who "did it". I recommended it to my husband and he enjoyed it as well
"Just okay"
I got this book because I was feeling festive and wanted something Christmas themed. I hadn't listened/read any of Debbie Macomber's books, and I'm not sure I'd be eager to try another as this one was just okay.
