I thought the book was a little drawn out but overall found it very interesting. A sad tale about a truly artistic man with one hell of a alcohol abuse problem. Great insight into a relatively short life. I learned a lot about Jim Morrison that I had not heard or I had speculated about through his writings. A must for any Doors fan but if the band wasn't of much interest to you this book may become boring.

Very interesting. I have used the theories and they seem to work extremely well. You must give it full concentration while using the theories. I will listen over and over to grasp all the nuances that are taught in this book. I enjoyed this book very much. Well narrated.

I thought I knew most of the stories about and around The Who, I was wrong. Pete goes into some great depth about his struggles and interactions with his own personal struggles and the struggles with the band. He didn't seem to hold back, appears to be very honest. He wrote about things in depth that would have been easily trivialized. I appreciate his honesty and candid accounts of his life from his point of view. No sugar coating. I very much enjoyed this book. I would put this on par with Steve Jobs book. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys biographies. I am very glad he narrated the book. Wish more autobiography authors would do that. He seem to add some fake laughter at time that didn't really work for me but that is really nit picking.

Good information but short. Guess I need to get Phil's other two little books. Well written, easy to digest. Can't wait to put it to practice. Will need to listen a few more times I'm sure to get a good grasp of his theories of poker.

Gary's life story was interesting. I could do without all the list but it's his book. Just the right length, could have got boring but never did. Any Howard Stern fan this is a must read. If Howard Stern is not your style you might not really get this book. It is like reading about a family member. I've been listening to Howard for 25 + years and Gary is a big part of that, if your not a listener not sure you would or could enjoy this as much as I did.
I'm glad Gary did the narration. Once again if you are not a Stern show fan you may not like listening to Gary and his speech impediment. Right Boff??

I enjoyed Robert's account of these famous rock stars interactions with him, although a bit superficial it was interesting.

Amazing book, never got bored. An incredible man who put a major mark on all of our lives if you know it or not. Although flawed, Steve Jobs always seem to somehow make his flaws a positive. Incredible life journey. Very honest book, didn't feel the author filtered anything negative about Steve. All accounts of his life good and bad were written about. Maybe my favorite bio I've listened to so far. Narration by Dylan Baker spot on.

Being a fan and somewhat a historian of Rock and Roll I enjoyed this book by Eric. It was a bit slow in parts but much of the struggle and triumph I found very interesting. I wished he would have dug a bit deeper into area's such as his and George Harrison's relationship but being as private a man as he seems to be I'll take what I can get.

Enjoyable listen, Dave wrote from his heart and seem to try and make amends with some of the mistakes he has made through his life. I have a lot more respect for him than ever before, always heard the whining stories without his side really. He is quiet inspiring with the adversity he has been faced with and come out in the end on top. I listen to his music with a whole new found respect and insight.
I am a atheist and at first listen thought Dave might be the same. Guess he has found something in his life that helps him through without jamming J.C down your throat. Much respect with his stance on religion. Seems to have grown up to be quiet a man.

I very much enjoyed this look into John's personal and professional life. Kind of knocked my music idol down to being human. I did enjoy Cynthia's view of Beatlemania and how it affected their family. Very revealing into Johns demons that he struggled with every day. Made me dislike Yoko even more than I already did. Some of the things Cynthia writes ( I know one sided) even so, if even close to truth Yoko is a raging, controlling, heartless B*TCH. WOW is all I can say. most would have put a hit out on her. I feel for Cynthia and Johns family. I would recommend this book highly, narration was spot on.
