Pretty compelling story
It's an interesting world created
My only big complaint is all the annoying parts of the book where it's just a cheap shot at trying to rev up teenage hormones. I'm not against some romance, but it's quite obvious many moments are solely there for the aforementioned reason.
I liked the characters. I like card's writing. This series though should have been one book and felt like a cash grab. No doubt there will be three more drawn out books about the second formic war. this should have been book 1 of that series.
yes, and I have.
Love the universe and characters. Very intriguing.
They are all top notch.
No, but I would love another book set in the same universe about alternate versions of the characters. Or more of a prologue
This final book of the series feels a bit lost to me. I liked it, but it feels kind of thrown together quickly and less purposeful than the others. The ending didn't seem that planned. This probably my favorite series I've read by Card or anyone, I think my expectations were just ridiculously high because I love the other two books so much. It's well worth getting!
Maybe, if they don't care about their money
The story is interesting, they just need to get on with it. The title made it too predictable.
Some yes, some no. None of them were terrible, but there a little sub-par to many of the other audiobooks I have.
Yes, just not the money. The last two books should have been combined as one book as they are short and fluffy.
I like the story - but the books are way too short for full price. I think Pitacus Lores legacy is the ability to string along a concise series into as many books as they can get away with.
Combine it with the previous book and next book so and condense them
The main character
Yes, and it does, several most likely because the series is a bit of a cash grab
Decent clean book (some mild exclatives at times), but really short and the series is looking like it's going to be a big cash grab.
Yes, because it's quite different and has a cool ending.
How it ties into the book of Genesis
Back to the future
Nice clean book with some biblical angles
Unique Clever Lewd
I have, and they are hit and miss for me. When his characters are less lewd and foul and sexual I tend to like his stuff better.
His great comedic timing and excellent reading abilities
If it bothers you, you should know that this book is quite lewd, contains plenty of foul language, and has some quite perverse parts (a number of references to sex with animals). I found quite distasteful. It has a very well thought out story and plot and was quite exciting and comical.
Yes, but it felt like the author was struggling with how to end the book. I was loosing interest fast about 2/3rds of the way through. Ending was strange and awkward but a little sweet I suppose.
This book has lots of foul and sexual language if that bothers you. I found to be a little on the excessive side (just a part of peoples casual talk and doesn't benefit the story most of the time beyond showing that it's how all the people talk).
It was enjoyable through and through (with only a couple exceptions). Great adventure.
Great book, great narration. Only issue is there is pointless section about masturbation that really adds nothing to the story and some language that would make this book not suitable for some.
I think so, because it's a bit of mind bender and sometimes they are fun to read/listen to again
The real or not real aspect.
who's the crazy one
Great book, decent climax, kinda fun how the ending ties into another (several other) series of Ted Dekker - though if you've never read Showdown it probably makes little sense.
Characters that weren't stupid.
Take the sex out. Make the main characters at least average intelligence.
All of them
