Hunger games is a great start to the trilogy. I enjoyed it. It does have alot of violence but there is a purpose to the fighting. It was engaging all the way through the fights, the compassion and the fear.
I liked the story, the concept is interesting and even though you expect certain things to happen, it did not seem like the usual story. the only complaint is that the reader tries a little too hard to create excitement and needs to tone it down a bit in some parts. very enjoyable.
good enough to go on to the next one. May go back and do the first one too.
I like the story and how it twists and turns. I never read a book twice because there are so many to read and so little time!
Scott Brick's voice fits the feeling of the story.
I have just finished part one and am starting part 2 of the first book. Its great and I have already recommended it to friends. I am a Koontz fan, and this is certainly up to the standard I expect from him.
I liked this one even better than Hunger Games. The continuation of the story, as the characters figure out who the real enemy is, was great. The end was not exactly what I had hoped for, but was so good that I was appeased. At the end of the book, I logged on immediately to get book three only to discover that it is not yet released. I am hoping that Audible picks it up as soon as it is out - Aug 24, 2010. I cannot wait to finish the story!
