"very entertaining"
I loved the accent and felt drawn in
At first I was not a fan, but after 1 to 2 hours I couldn't wait to go for long walks and lose myself on this journey
I'm not a scientist, but enjoyed listening to what people thought about science of the earth years ago.
"Very silly book"
This book had great potential, if the authors would have stuck to one story line. They should have stuck with the super bug.
The creator of GeneDym is a brilliant geneticist AND computer genius? Yet he's not smart enough to stop production of a blood product that could make people crazy and carry around a vial of a virus that could wipe out humanity? There were so many holes in the story line and absurd side tangents I had to listen to this at a 1.5 speed to get this over with.
A guy spends almost a day in an elevator (don't get me started on the computer program) to talk to a man to stop release of a product and stop playing with a super flu, to then play some stupid game with no calls made? Then we get a very long and detailed journey out in the desert, but we never hear about the people infected. Don't waste your time with this book!
The details of creating the super flu
No way
"Great story with bad narration"
I already recommended this book to my mother. Even though post-apocalyptic books are not her favorite, the story and characters were great.
Of course Juliette, but Solo gets a nod since he was surprisingly not crazy.
Does she really need to laugh or sigh when the book says the character did? And the male characters sounded cartoonish. I rolled my eyes a lot!
Yes, I found myself listening to this book while cleaning and cooking.
"I never wanted this to end!"
The story was great. It felt real unlike some of my prior books. I found myself caught up in the story. The people. I laughed a lot and the main characters were so kind and entertaining.
I wish I could live in this town with these people. The gossip, the stories, the simple living. Loved it all.
No, but he has been my favorite narrator so far.
Can't wait to get more books from this auther and narrator.
"Very predictable and annoying to listen to"
I wouldn't want to insult anyone.
It will be a while till I listen to something like this in a while.
Not sure if the voice was making the book worse or the book was making the reading unbearable
If I was reading the book, I would have just read the vigilante killings. The love scenes were annoying and hard to stomach. Hey you, hey you.
Many times I was just going to download something else, but thought it had to get better.
"a little cheesy"
A cute story, but nothing to write home about
Maybe, not an action, romantic, or thiller. Just something to listen to.
Sure.
Not good, not bad.
"excellent"
This is the best book I've listened to so far
The reader and book were awesome. I'd listen to this again!
I was drawn in
Ab
When u think u got it rough and want to host a pity party, just being reminded how hard people had it 50 or 100 years ago make u feel lucky.
"great zombie book"
The reader has a voice that sounds almost bored. After you get used to her, she does grow on you.
Of course the woman!
I was very happy with this book until the govermental b crap. Even in the end I can dream of the next chapters.
Would like more chapters
"much potential, but very disappointing"
The guy telling the story was awesome and helped when the story got confessing because you knew who was talking,
Most def!
Everything! He made this bad book worth listening to!
Maybe. I would hope a movie would reduce the obvious.
"Pretty good book about the amazon"
The reader seemed bored at times. A little monotone.
The author was great at describing details that I could easily get lost in the story. The characters came alive, for better or worse.
