This is a well documented book about the politics of science and why fat was unfairly condemned.
Why We Get Fat by Garry Taubes. Fat Chance: The Bitter Truth About Sugar by Robert Lustig.
As a physician with a degree in nutrition I am impressed with this book. The world of nutrition is flipping back to what we ate hundreds of years ago before we got fat and died of heart disease.
He has seen it all from both sides and expresses himself with class and style.
I have had a more intellectual conversation with a slobbering drunk. The drunk at least thinks outside the box. Picture a burned out cigarette butt in beer bottle after a bar pick up where you talked about yourself as you had sex. Critical thinking????
Jack and Jill since it is better story.
Why did I waste my money!
I have done it twice and will do it again.
Good Calories Bad Calories
Fantastic story about a scientist's journey of discovery of the impact of the western diet on humans.
Yes I have done this already. D'Souza logically argues his points and often quotes from Obama to prove his points.
If Obama is such a "nice guy" why does not he help HIS brother George Obama? George is family!!! Yet, Obama wants everyone to help others....the rules seem NOT to to apply to this President. Obama went to one of the most expensive and elite private schools in Hawaii....I went to public school.
My fear for my grandchildren's future
The Man was not ready for Prime time and Is still not ready for Prime time. In 2008 Obama said it best when he said it was time to replace a failed administration with Hope and Change. It is true today. It is time to replace Obama's failed administration with Hope and Change. This book documents that Obama is not the leader He thinks he is and America Hoped he was. Time for change.
The seals who killed UBL.
America, You Got What You Deserved When You Tossed Your Vote Away.
All Americans need to read this book to see how not researching ones vote can potentially bring down our nation.
Learning about newly released documents that had been previously classified has added so much to the depth of our understanding of importance of Reagan's place in history.
The Communist by Kengor. The story of Obama's "Frank". Flip side of the coin.
Wow This family, these people, their love, their work. What a special flame they ignited. Can you imagine what she still can do? Role models to us....one and all.
She was sitting in the room with me and speaking to me. Thank you.
I cried when she told me of her loss of her mother and father.
Beck always writes a very entertaining book. He clearly makes his case. Too bad more people do not read this book, but some non readers of this book are also cowards and do not want to see that the world is being destroyed. This book is related to todays social and political climate. Ayn Rand's master pieces are similarly poignant, but more likely to be read 50 years from now.
Yes, but I always "hear" books. I do not read them. I bought the print version for my two daughters as they enjoy reading books.
The special and unique fabric that Wouk weaves between himself and Feynman. Wouk is a very special story teller as the thread he sews touches on cosmology, God, the culture of how we live in religion and how we see what we are capable of understanding and/or accepting in faith. It gave me the chance to relive a brief meeting I had with Feynman a half century ago.
