    No. This is not the best book for an audio book


    Would you be willing to try another book from E L James? Why or why not?

    Yeah - this book is a trilogy so I may choose to read the rest


    Did Becca Battoe do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    No. She nailed the main character Ana on the head - she is a very prudish and innocent character but her depiction of the male character Christian was awful. He deserved an ACTUAL guy with a sensual voice do this - it would have been better if two people did this book

    What made the experience of listening to Gone Girl the most enjoyable?

    The two narrators did a great job and made it very easy to listen to


    What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

    I thought it was strange at first but once the main plot and story was revealed i liked it


    What about Julia Whelan and Kirby Heyborne ’s performance did you like?

    They did great interpretations of the characters


    Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    Without giving away any spoilers - the plot where we discovered what was really going on with Amy.

    I strongly disliked how the ending turned out. It is my hope that Gillian Flynn has plans to perhaps do a sequel so we can how Amy and Nick are doing.

    Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Elizabeth Gilbert?

    Hmm...I'm not sure but I definitely don't think Elizabeth Gilbert was the person to narrate it.


    If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    This book is a movie - I am considering renting it.

    I really disliked Elizabeth being the narrator. I get it was HER story but she made her story sound really whiny.

    I only liked the book after Italy.

    Where does Catching Fire rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    This is one of my favorite books in recent memory. I'm really glad I downloaded it


    What did you like best about this story?

    Like I said with my previous review of the other Hunger Games book - this trilogy is amazing. I love every part


    What aspect of Carolyn McCormick’s performance would you have changed?

    I think she makes Katniss to girly and weak when Katniss is a POWERFUL character.

    I love this trilogy overall. There is nothing I could really pinpoint about one single thing.

    I really didn't particularly like the narration. She makes Katniss seem like such a little girl and that's not what her character is about

    Yes absolutely. I love Jim Dale - it's one of the reasons I chose this story.
