Amazing, Informative, Captivating.
I loved how this book made me physically stop what I was doing in order to concentrate on what was happening. The action scenes were awesome.
There were many scenes in this book that were amazing. I can't just pick one scene.
At first, It was something to listen to while I was doing laundry or cleaning my room. After the first few chapters, I set aside time just to listen. I couldn't stop listening!
I have yet to listen/read the other Halo books. I have had a friend tell me for YEARS to read it and now I can see why! Just be prepared that (just as the title describes) there will be some heartaches.
Gripping, exciting, awesome.
Definitely for those fans of the Video Games.
Varied (which is a good thing), dynamic, full.
No, just certain parts.
If you ever played Halo CE on the Xbox or Halo CEA on the Xbox 360, you have already ready about 1/5th of this book. It rehashes Master Chief's storyline to the T from the video games. But, there are other story arcs that give a wide scoop of what others were doing at the time Master Chief was off on his quest. That is what kept me reading.
