With the books author reading it the passion comes through from boy to Man and at the end a bit of divine intervention rgearding his rescue

    Although a bit of an Anglophile this illuminating work is a tour de force. You could hear feel and understand these great men Franklin and Winston in a very personal way. Not enough can be said about the continuity and joy of Meacham's work I look forward to more from this great researcher and author.
