    I liked that there was more involvement with Guido's daughter.

    David Colacci is a good reader. I like hearing what I assume is correct pronunciation of Italian, and its various dialects.

    Would you consider the audio edition of Plainsong to be better than the print version?

    N/A. I have not read the book.


    Who was your favorite character and why?

    I liked them all. The McPheran brothers, though were especially entertaining.


    What does Tom Stechschulte bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    He is a good reader who captures the manner of speech in that part of Colorado well. I am a Co. Native who has been to Yuma (Holt) many times.


    If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    It wouldn't work well as a movie.


    Any additional comments?

    After a steady diet of spicy food, (thrillers and action novels) I needed some comfort food. This hit the spot.

    Narration and story.

    Just getting back to favorite characters.


    What about Stephen King’s performance did you like?

    The subtlety of King's character changes. There was only character I thought was not done well.


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes. I was always eager to get back to it. But, it's too long for a single sitting.

    No, they are just great fun. Other books in the series dealt with deeper subjects. e.g. Slavery and racism.
