Maybe its me but the reviews of this book are way off base. The story is all over the place. I didn't connect with any of the characters and found the story to be a long and uninteresting. After listening to a lot of books I have to say this one was not very good, in my opinion.
Developed the characters more
The narrator was fine, he just didn't have a great book to perform.
I would rearrange the story to not be so disjointed and I think that would have helped me connect betetr with the characters.
The was a pretty good book. I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars
The end :-) which I wont give away here
I dont think I have heard any of these narrators before
The Norm (as it what each of us finds normal in their life no matter how weird others may fin it)
The endearing nature of the characters. The good feelings created after Cee Cee is forced to move with her relatives.
Cee Cee Honeycutt because she is a survivor and because she finally finds a true loving home.
Very believeable perfomance
I really enojoy the character, Alex Cross and the performeance was very good. This books ranks right up there in my library.
Sometimes i couldn't get out of the car until I found out what was going to happen next.
The old hollywood stories were great. An insiders look and who would have thought Bob Barker would have all those great stories.
The fire escape at the hollywood party with the midget
Priceless, of course
To me the story had huge gaps, didn't really talk about 3rd rock and was really focused on her medical condition. I wanted to know more about her life and the details of how she overcame addiction.
Yes. I still think she is very interesting.
I liked her as a narator, it was the lack of a real story that I didn't care for in this book.
Yes, the book had some funny moments
