The plot of this book got me going immediately. Being from the area where the book takes place, it was fun hearing about the places I knew as a child and young adult. That being said, if you're going to create an audio book that takes place in Mississippi, at least get someone to narrate it who can do a decent accent. Dick Hill hasn't got a clue how the people down here talk or pronounce certain words. It's NAtchez, not natCHEZ. It's prawlines, not praylines. Still a very good story that kept me listening.
