story telling at it's best. even by contemporary standards the story stands the test of time. a must 'audible read'

medieval england is alive with intrigue, emotion and the not so everyday trials and tribulations of life in a whorehouse. it's easy to find a kinship with these characters whose lives are so distant in time, but similar in the need to survive.
Wish this whole series was available. Shooky is a comfortable character who draws you into her world of adventure and strangeness with ease. She always leaves you wanting more.
