  • Toxic Parents: Overcoming Their Hurtful Legacy and Reclaiming Your Life

    • UNABRIDGED (10 hrs and 32 mins)
    • By Craig Buck, Susan Forward
    • Narrated By Jo Anna Perrin
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

In this remarkable self-help guide, Dr. Susan Forward draws on case histories and the real-life voices of adult children of toxic parents to help you free yourself from the frustrating patterns of your relationship with your parents---and discover a new world of self-confidence, inner strength, and emotional independence.

Amanda says: "Its worth a listen."
    "I'm not fricken crazy!!!"
What did you love best about Toxic Parents?

The second part where it gives you a step by step way to confront your parents!!

What did you like best about this story?

Hearing that I am not crazy, dumb, bad, disturbed, or wrong.

Which character – as performed by Jo Anna Perrin – was your favorite?

    They were all great!

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Toxic Parents?

All of it!! I now have a tangible understanding of what happens in toxic relationships and I don't have to doubt it. And for anyone who is toxic that I need to confront, I have a clear path to do that. I do wish there were more non-defensive reply examples.
