Though I was born a few years after the Kennedy administration ended, I enjoyed this book very much. The writing, narrator, flow, everything, made it very enjoyable and I highly recommend it!
I'm still thinking about this audiobook even though I finished it a few weeks ago. The story itself caught me off guard with the twist at the beginning, and had me gripped from then on. An excellent story, hit VERY close to home, and personally, I'm very glad Ms. Weiner wrote it. She's one of my very favorite authors, and this is her very best.
Just came across this title a few weeks ago and bought it. I've been a fan of Ms. Weiner's for years, in fact, I have to be in the right frame of mind to re-listen to some of her books because they are so emotional. I loved the multiple characters and voices in this one.
Andrew Mellen has a way of delivering his points, ideas, etc, in a way that very much appeals to my brain. I know it sounds weird, but he echoes what I've known to be important - to ME - and my family just doesn't understand. Will use the audiobook and printed version to try and get our house where I need it to be, for my ADD/OCD's sake. :)
This audiobook has it all - storyline, characters, setting, but most especially, an amazing narrator.
John Taylor is the only person who can tell his story - it's a must-have and not just for Duran Duran fans. This is a story of childhood, teens, and hard-fought for dreams realized!!
I enjoyed this audiobook! It's worth a listen if you're interested in more behind-the-scenes "dirt" on the Kardashian family. We're also introduced to Kris's childhood. Marcia Strassman does a great job narrating.
I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who is interested in hoarding, or suffers from it, or anyone in between. This book includes an interesting discussion about genetics and hoarding.
Definitely worth buying - funny, sad, sarcastic, this book has it all!! Would love to listen to anything else from Jenny Lawson.
