Almost seven years after losing her husband in Iraq, Hannah Abbott Guthrie isn’t sure she’s ready - or able - to move on, but the attentions of a lifelong friend are making her think about it for the first time. The memory of the sweet kiss she shared with Nolan Roberts hasn’t strayed far from her thoughts, but she also fears that pursuing something with him would mean betraying her husband’s memory.

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It has great character and story depth and a good balance of emotional engagement and sensuality. There are tears and joy as Hannah struggles to come to terms with the loss of her young husband in Iraq and move forward to find love again while still embracing his memory. As always, Christina Taister does a great job with narration.

I have enjoyed the books in this series and eagerly downloaded this listen. Even though I was aware that, with a '10.5' series designation, it wouldn't be a full book I was somewhat surprised by its brevity and linear focus. If you're a fan of this series and familiar with Jarred and his situation it's probably worth downloading, otherwise it's best to start somewhere else. One complaint I've had throughout the series is Holly Fielding's narration and unfortunately it's the same is still the case with this listen.

I enjoyed this book every bit as much as the first two in the series. Admittedly it follows the same format and has a degree of predictability but it is a historical romance and part of a series so that was expected. The story and characters were fresh and engaging and it provided a welcome continuation of the Yellowstone saga. Nick Sarando did a credible job with the narration although he's not my favourite narrator.

I enjoyed this book but not as much as others in the series. It just didn't have the same level of engagement, suspense or plot development that the first three did. Perhaps it is just me, since I'm now half way through the next book in the series and am finding it even bit as entertaining as the first three. Nick Sarando does an okay job of narrating but I prefer Alexandra Haag who narrated the first book.

Then she learns - from a stranger named Sam Dakota - that her grandfather is ill. Possibly dying. Molly packs up the kids without a second thought and makes the long drive to Sweetgrass, Montana. Once she arrives, she immediately has questions about Sam Dakota. Why is he working on her grandfather’s ranch? Why doesn’t the sheriff trust him? Just who is he?

Yes, she's a bit young and headstrong, but no one at court has actually ever seen the Lady Bellamy, and Alicia's beauty, poise, and bearing are enough to fool the king.

I truly enjoyed this listen. I'm a fan of Robyn Carr and this book has everything I've come to expect from her books: great story and plot development, strong characters and an engaging balance of action, romance and sensuality. Susan Duerden was an excellent choice as narrator with good inflection and diction, albeit somewhat slow delivery in places.

I enjoyed this listen despite the fact I found Ceejay too insecure and needy to be enjoyable as the female lead. Fortunately Noah was everything Ceejay wasn't which helped move the story along. Kate Rudd did a good job with the narration which added significantly to the listening experience.

This book is a light and easy listen with engaging characters. I especially enjoyed the fact that Jane, the female lead came across as a strong and self-reliant individual. Narration wasn't great but it wasn't awful either. It sometimes sounded like the book was being read rather than performed but the main characters were well delivered.

I enjoyed this book every bit as much as the first one in the series and for all the same reasons: strong characters, engaging story line and a great balance between romance and adventure. Nick Sarando did a good job of narrating the male characters, especially Chase but fell short with the female characters.
