A very interesting study of the times of America before and during the life of Robert E. Lee. Much can be learned about life in the past by such works but I often found myself wondering at what I felt was the injection of personal ideas, and interpretations of the author. I try to imagine how I might have dealt with such issues should I have written the book myself. I plan to take other works on the life of Robert E. Lee and see what they have to say.
I knew I wanted to buy this book for the Learning Experience I would gain. I am not disappointed. In fact I am listening to it for a 2nd time to hear the lessons again.
I live in the edge of the Feral Hog region of this part of the State of Texas. I drive through their turf everyday, and know they are very dangerous. Who ever imagined a possibility that man would become a menu item for the Wild Hog population?
Very interesting work by the author. I almost didn't buy it because it was under a 6 hours listening time. However, I did not use a credit, and paid for it outright. It was worth it, and hope to see volume two here soon.
A wonderful work by Thomas Paine read by Glen Beck. I listened to this audio book almost three times before laying it aside. I will pick it back up again, and again I am sure. The first portion is comment from Glen, and I found it very informational and encouraging. You can the reader was full of passion and at times the rise of the voice was almost irritating. However, the context was 100% worth the listen.
The actual work of Thomas Paine is priceless. I agree this should be required reading and study for every young person in America, and even the world. Very much worth your time to consider.
