"Safe Haven"
This was a great book to listen to. Suspenful, well writened and had a great ending. I hated for it to end. Nicholas Sparks showed his colors on this one and earns all the credits for being an awesome author.
"The Help"
One of the best books I have listened to this year. The characters are well developed and the pace never slows down. Well written and definitely an author I will follow. I felt like the characters became my friends and I hated to come to the end of this book.
"Book Of the Dead"
This just was boring. It drug on and on. It is just not the same quality as her first books. I was really disappointed in this one.
"Nineteen Minutes"
This author really knows how to search out the "soul" in the matter she is writing about. I have now listended to two of her books and can say that her material is well written, and her characters well developed. You will find yourself thinking about these books long afer you have finished listening to them. Her books are consistenly excellent and makes you want to listen to the next one.
"Natural Born Charmer"
This was one os ther best books I have ever listed to (I am now up to 218 books). It is so well written, and the characters are so true to life that you feel like you know them. The book is witty and keeps you captivated to the very end. I wanted the book to go on and on and not end. I am now downloading the rest of her books and can not wait to start another one.
"At Risk"
I was excited when I saw Cornwell had started a new series with a new character, but was very disappointed in this book. It does not have the deep or plot that her other books had. The end of the book seemed rushed and was hard to follow. Clearly not up to her standards.
"Well writtne"
This book is well written and keeps you engaged till the very end. This is not the normal kind of book I read. I selected this book after hearing about it on the Oprah Show and got interested. It is a very moving book about this young man's journey in reclaiming his life. I really admired him and was cheering at the end. This book is very encouraging for all parents who have kids that are doing it "the hard way".
"The Time Traveler's Wife"
Boring. I never could get through it. It is a kind of book that you instantly love or instantly start yawning. I started yawning.
