If you could sum up In the Garden of Disgrace in three words, what would they be?

    Redemption.

What was one of the most memorable moments of In the Garden of Disgrace?

    I enjoyed the "storm scene"

Would you listen to another book narrated by Tanya S. Bartlett?

I don't know if I would listen to this narrator again--her cadence was off and I found her less than wonderful to listen to--

To his shock, Briana, wanting love, denies the nobleman. However, when an enemy comes calling, the couple soon discovers that love may indeed be the most important weapon of all... This sweet historical romance series, about a duke's family, includes delightful, heartwarming love stories that bring the Regency period to life.

Interesting, if improbable, story. The narrator did female voices well--the male voices were not done as well. They sounded "lispy" and not quite right.

An intelligent and interesting story well told. The topic was unique-rare book collecting during the Regency period. Characters were well developed.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I was so distracted by the narrator's voice that I couldn't finish it...

    Any additional comments?

I have ordered the book to read...because i want to know how it ends! I hate to give a negative review to a narrator because I can imagine how difficult it is and the problem was not how she delivered the material but the narrator's voice (too high pitched for me..).

Leah Elliot sells secrets to survive. Donning boy's clothes, she uncovers society scandals for a London gossip rag to support herself and her sister, who were left destitute after their father's death. When she meets the dashing - and perhaps dangerous - Hal Forster, the Marquess of Denby, she learns he may be involved in treason. The rumor is too valuable not to sell, despite her attraction to him.

Where does Compromising the Marquess rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Pretty average...so/so listen.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The narrator's voice was good for the female parts...not so much for the male. She mispronounced many words (not because of the differences between British and American English). These issues were distracting.

We can't really say more without giving away a big, fat spoiler, but it turns out that: Colin is a bit of a meddler, Hyacinth is more of a meddler, and the only time all of the Bridgertons stop talking at once is when Penelope has something really embarrassing to say. Hey, we never said it was easy to marry a Bridgerton, just that it was fun.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The story is a good epilogue...the narrator is not very enjoyable for me. I did not like how he does female voices. His voice is fine...just not for this...

Who was your favorite character and why?

Colin! Who can resist a rogue!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Kevan Brighting?

    Simon Peebles

Could you see Romancing Mister Bridgerton being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Would love to see it...no ideas for casting.

    Any additional comments?

    More Bridgertons!

What made the experience of listening to Rules to Catch a Devilish Duke the most enjoyable?

I am a fan of Suzanne Enoch and have enjoyed the two previous books very much. Anne Flosnik is one of my favorite narrators and the combination lived up to all of my expectations. Highly recommended.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Rules to Catch a Devilish Duke?

The changes that the Duke of Greaves goes through in becoming a better human being and settling old issues by taking responsibility for his errors--not a thing he believes a Duke should do!

Which character – as performed by Anne Flosnik – was your favorite?

The Duke of Greaves---though all characters were very well done...as usual.
