"Excellent story..."
Redemption.
I enjoyed the "storm scene"
I don't know if I would listen to this narrator again--her cadence was off and I found her less than wonderful to listen to--
"Excellent."
An intelligent and interesting story well told. The topic was unique-rare book collecting during the Regency period. Characters were well developed.
"Couldn't finish..."
I was so distracted by the narrator's voice that I couldn't finish it...
I have ordered the book to read...because i want to know how it ends! I hate to give a negative review to a narrator because I can imagine how difficult it is and the problem was not how she delivered the material but the narrator's voice (too high pitched for me..).
"Interesting story...poor narration"
Pretty average...so/so listen.
The narrator's voice was good for the female parts...not so much for the male. She mispronounced many words (not because of the differences between British and American English). These issues were distracting.
"Love the series...not this so much..."
The story is a good epilogue...the narrator is not very enjoyable for me. I did not like how he does female voices. His voice is fine...just not for this...
Colin! Who can resist a rogue!
Simon Peebles
Would love to see it...no ideas for casting.
More Bridgertons!
"Favorite of a wonderful series..."
I am a fan of Suzanne Enoch and have enjoyed the two previous books very much. Anne Flosnik is one of my favorite narrators and the combination lived up to all of my expectations. Highly recommended.
The changes that the Duke of Greaves goes through in becoming a better human being and settling old issues by taking responsibility for his errors--not a thing he believes a Duke should do!
The Duke of Greaves---though all characters were very well done...as usual.
