"A Light Mindless Romp"
A great way to while away a few hours in a kinder gentler (maybe) era. This is a series that I enjoy for light listening. It is effortless and fun. The narration is excellent.
"Spoiled by the narrator"
This was a not bad story completely spoiled by a narrator who attempted accents so badly that it was hard to tell where Lancashire ended and Atlanta Georgia began. The accents were so irritating that they detracted from the story. I was sorely disappointed as it was an interesting premise.
"Easy to listen to"
There is nothing taxing or complicated about this book. It is exactly what you would expect from a book based and a book written by a character in a televsion show. I am still mildly surprised that the narrator is not Nathan Fillion each time I listen to one of these books - though I know it isn't going to be ahead of time! I listen to books on my way to work and this fit the bill perfectly.
