At historic Faneuil Hall in Boston, Democratic presidential nominee Senator John F. Kerry addressed supporters and the nation about yesterday's election. Senator Kerry announced that he has conceded the presidential election to President Bush. Senator John Edwards introduced John Kerry.

A short while later, President George Bush declared victory in his address to supporters at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington. Vice President Dick Cheney introduced the President. (November 3, 2004)

As sad as I am to hear this speech, I believe that John Kerry is being good about losing this election. He recognizes the great divide between the two parties and I take his word that he will try his hardest to reach out and unite us once again.
