Before I read Perfect Blood I look at the reviews for this book first. I was surprised how many bad reviews it got. I almost didn't want to read it. But I read all the books it would be foolish to not read it based on the reviews. I have to say i can see why it gotten so many negatives reviews it's not that bad it's not the greatest either, but it's OK. Morgan is as stubborn as she usually is. A little more stupid and childish than before. Her vision never to hurt or kill anyone is not really very practical in the world she lives in. That's one of those time's i would say "C'mon just kill him and it will save you headache later." Oh well I'm not the writer. Overall It's an OK story wish it would've been better.

The narration like all the others is very good. I love listening to Marguerite Gavin. She makes the character's so alive. Keep up the good work I look forward for the next book Ever After

In this captivating memoir, Deborah Feldman takes listeners on an eye-opening journey into Orthodox Jewish culture. Raised in the suffocating world of Brooklyn’s Satmar Hasidim, Feldman was told what to read and who she was allowed to talk to. Married off at 17, she suffered from anxiety and was shamed by an inability to please her older husband. But after giving birth to a son at age 19, Feldman realized it was time to tear up her roots and make her own path in life.

What did you love best about Unorthodox?

I love how this book open my mind to a whole new world of Jewish girls and how they live their life. Its amazing how they can live like this in NY city we're liberal non God fearing people live all around their community.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Deborah i like her strength, her curiosity, her intelligence and determination to not let her son grow up on the Hasidic community on what i think a very cruel world to be a child.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and i tried to listen to this book in one sitting its just too good to stop listening to it.

Would you listen to Dead In the Family again? Why?

Probably since i already listen to it once its gonna be awhile before i listen to it again. I wanna listen to the next book after this one and finish it.

Would you recommend Dead In the Family to your friends? Why or why not?

I would recommend this to a few friends only if they read the books before this because its not easy to catch up on what happened from the past.

Have you listened to any of Johanna Parker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No i haven,t but i would be glad to find out what are the other books she narrated other than the Sookie Stackhouse series.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes
