    doubtful. Characters are too simplistic. Great idea for a story, but Katniss turning into Joan of Arc with only selfless motives gets old, quickly, particularly at the end of the book.

    I nearly didn't finish the book and wish I had listened to a sample before downloading. The reader used way too much enthusiasm for my taste and several times I wondered if I was listening to a children's book. It really spoiled the story for me.

    This is the best book I've listened to in a very long time. The narrators help bring the story to life enormously. Entertaining, thought provoking, and inspiring. I won't forget this book for some time.

    I was surprised to be drawn in by this different sort of write for Patterson, but the story had enough twists and turns to keep my attention and enjoyment. I felt there was, however, a bit too much graphic drawn out gory battle scenes for my taste. I enjoyed the narrator very much, seemed perfect for the story.
