Five years after the Death Star was destroyed and Darth Vader and the Emperor were defeated, the galaxy is struggling to heal the wounds of war, Princess Leia and Han Solo are married and expecting twins, and Luke Skywalker has become the first in a long-awaited line of new Jedi Knights. But thousands of light-years away, the last of the Emperor’s warlords - the brilliant and deadly Grand Admiral Thrawn - has taken command of the shattered Imperial fleet, readied it for war, and pointed it at the fragile heart of the New Republic....

I enjoyed Zahn's Thrawn books immensely - this should be the canon - it's far superior to the Episodes 1 - 3 in it's imagination and scope.

Please bring out the rest of this series in unabridged format - I will buy them all, but I will not buy the currently offered abridged versions.

Acclaimed author Michael J. Sullivan created instant best sellers with his spellbinding Riyria Revelations series. This first volume introduces Royce Melborn and Hadrian Blackwater, two enterprising thieves who end up running for their lives when they’re framed for the death of the king. Trapped in a conspiracy bigger than they can imagine, their only hope is unraveling an ancient mystery - before it’s too late.

I grabbed this book when it was on sale and loved it. It has a similar feel as Scott Lynch's Gentlemen Bastard series. I definitely plan to listen to the second book!

This is a tale of sorrow, a tale of survival, a tale of one man's search for meaning in his universe, and how that search, and the indomitable will that drove it, gave birth to a legend.

Dubbed the American Tolkien by Time magazine, George R. R. Martin has earned international acclaim for his monumental cycle of epic fantasy. Now the number-one New York Times best-selling author delivers the fifth book in his spellbinding landmark series - as both familiar faces and surprising new forces vie for a foothold in a fragmented empire.

The wait for this book was long... we were delivered about 1/3 of it with A Feast for Crows, but the stories I most wanted to read are in this volume. Things are finally moving in the right direction.

As other reviewers have said, the choice of voicing for many characters - especially young and female characters isn't as good as it was in previous Martin books I bought from Audible - though some characters, such as Tyrion are perfect.
