"What should we have for dinner?" To one degree or another, this simple question assails any creature faced with a wide choice of things to eat. Anthropologists call it the omnivore's dilemma. Choosing from among the countless potential foods nature offers, humans have had to learn what is safe, and what isn't. Today, as America confronts what can only be described as a national eating disorder, the omnivore's dilemma has returned with an atavistic vengeance.

Stephen Redding says: "Great presentation of a moral dilemma"
    "Loved it"
    Overall

Living a more sustanable life and growing some of what we eat I connect with the message here. It is so hard in todays world to be connected to where our food comes from and that is part of the problem. Thanks Michael for your journey, humor, and connection to what we eat.

Persuasive, straightforward, and practical, Why We Get Fat makes Taubes’s crucial argument newly accessible to a wider audience.

    "Excellent book"
    Overall

Very clear science and the person who said that his message is to stop eating carbs missed the book. This is not a diet book. The message was to reduce eating processed carbs like grains that cause people to get fat..which was just a small part of the book. He presented all the historical data and even what hapens to cultures that start eating a western diet what happens. Thanks to the author for more details and data on the subject.

    "Excellent romance."
    Overall

Strong hero and heroine. So nice the heroine was not whiny or doing stupid stuff and actually had abilities that were not belittled. Plot continued to move. Narrator did a nice job making the boy's voice belivable.

Wish their was more sex but still a good story and plot with a nice HEA.

They were masters of the darkness, searching through eternity for a mistress of the light. Lead guitarist of the Dark Troubadors, Dayan was renowned for his mesmerizing performances. His melodies stilled crowds, beckoned, seduced, tempted. And always, he called to her. His lover. His lifemate. He called to her to complete him. To give him the emotions that had faded from his existence, leaving him an empty shell of growing darkness.

    Kim says: "Book - 5 stars...narration - 3 stars"
"I am so sick of this"
    Overall

Ok the leading lady was sick through most of the book and it was all about her being good and her heart, love you, and over load of feelings (and I am a woman saying this a little more action please)...yikes I almost could not finish this book. Sex was pretty average when it finally did happen at nearly the end of the book.

Great narrator but the book plot was thin and disapointing. Yawn.
