Eve Dallas is a strong woman cop, who finds her dream man. She has a soft side, but doesn't like to show it. This is just the begining to a great romance. Book does have some strong language at times and a murder. So if you are not into that you may not like it. It also includes a great romance between a strong woman with nothing to her name, but her job and with a man that is rich and powerful, but these things can't buy her. I love this book and recommend to anyone who likes romance and mystery.

I purchased this book because of 2 things, the high rating and it was on sale. I read the description and would not have bought based solely on that. After I began to listen, I wondered why the description wasn't better and why haven't my children read this. I asked them and they all said they did and it was great. I said why didn't you tell me??? They said everyone at school (High School) said it was really good and so they read it. So then when it was over I went on and see there is 2 more books, I bought both of them and am excited to get started. I highly recommend this book. It is one of those, for me, that I didn't want to stop listening.

I have listened to a couple of Dean Koontz books before and enjoyed them and decided to purchase this one. I really got into this one and when I would have to stop listening for the day I really looked forward to coming back to it the next day. I like how this book has the perfect blend of suspense, mystery, well written plot/story. To many murder mysteries spend to much time talking about blood and gore. To many romances seem to be more of sex. To many mysteries are more about not telling you enough to understand until laying it all out at the very end. I thought this one was very well written with some mystery, suspence, romance and having a really good story to go with them. The person reading the story did a very good job.

It is an interesting short interview. He believes we can all be successful and he would like to help people do so. He talks a little about his chicken soup for the soul series, but it is more about his own book and how it came about.

I love this whole series. Put in the future with a strong woman who is a police detective. With all her flaws finds the man of any womans dreams. Each book has a different mystery to be solved. Great characters!

This is a wonderful story. It made me smile many times. I would recommend.

I like this wonderful romance. The characters are fun and interesting. I like Nora Roberts books and wondered if these being some of her earlier work, if it was going to be as good. Yes, it is.
