If you are thinking of investing in China, you better read this first. This book tells both the progress and pitfalls of doing business in that country. It does a great job of expaining why things work the way they do in China. One thing that is very clear, when this "new" workforce is fully mobilized it will be a competitive force like the world has never seen.
It started off with excellent recommendations for first time job seekers. Then, as always, Harvey has real excellent advice for all.

Old school competitive intelligence... Following a competitors delivery trucks was a new one on me.
Might be a great read for your kids too.
I thought I understood what it is to be a Christian. A real eye-opener for me (in a good way). Well researched and presented. You can hear the passion in the author's voice. Don't let the length scare you. You only listen about ten minutes a day. Gives you great questions to ponder after each short session.
I tried to make it through. Couldn't do it. The exercises are very slow moving. I lost interest. To be fair, could be good for people with heavy accents they are trying to break.
