I disagree with other reviewer. Plot has lots twist and turns...nice development of characters.and not predictable. I recommend reading in order to understand all characters.
I thought the novel would never end....but I just knew a good suspense was lurking just a few minutes away.
OMG....what a let down. Little to no suspense. I guessed it two hours before it ended.
slow, melodious and boring. I can see why they choose her based on the character but I almost fell asleep during part of her long narratives.
Barely but I thought the subject matter was so important and well researched.
I'd still recommend it...as with all Grisham novels, I learned so much and was appalled if the content is close to the truth.
Yes, the narrator was great and read all the different characters well.
The plot was so unpredictable and the ending a complete surprise. But as a skier, the skiing scene, kept me on the edge of my seat.
The main character of course
Definitely, I had to listen to the last two hours while fixing dinner.
I'd like too read another novel by Joseph Finer soon.
It amazes me how CJ Box can just put you in the setting of Yellowstone Park. I could just imagine the geysers and hotpots. He builds the suspense little by little and you never know who's the bad guys until the very end. I couldn't put it down.
As with all C.J. Box's novel, the narration is great. Joe Pickett is a man of few words.
The description of the Old Yellowstone Inn is superb. I can't wait to visit Yellowstone this fall.
A good try by Robert Galbraith, aka J.K. Rowling. The narrative dragged on and on with minute details. The plot was good but the book itself was much too long. Kudos to Robert Glenister, the narrator. I wouldn't have finished the book without his talent. The epilogue was the best part of the novel.
He performed all the characters admirably.
no....just too long and too much finite detail.
He did it again. Keeping us in suspense. His development of characters was superb. And the narration just added more to an already great novel. His detailed description of trains just put you there.
This is just a cute, entertaining book when you want a tiny break from the Thrillers you enjoy so much. The narrator, Katherine Kellgren, is superb and really makes the book.
This is a suspenseful novel and one you shouldn't miss. If you're not familiar with military jargon, don't let it stop you from reading on. You'll understand before you know it. It has lots of twists and turns in this story.
This is the first book I've read by this author. It was a entertaining but yet a solid mystery. Listen closely......Some of the heroines narrative was especially humorous as her antics solve the mystery. Its worth the buy!
A great novel. Her development of characters and descriptions of scenes are vivid. You feel you can actually imagine the different places in London and the countryside. The plot twists and turns so you can never predict "who dun it"! Give these novels a chance and you'll be hooked!
Yes, her narration is superb.
