I didn't read the print version, but Sean Schemmel is the single best narrator EVER. He MADE this book soooo much funnier. I don't know if Justin Halpern picked him specifically, but he was PERFECT
I Suck At Girls, same narrator, same author, and almost as funny.
He did so many HILARIOUS voices, it was like listening to 10 people read this
Pretty much everytime the dad spoke, I was moved to tears.....of LAUGHTER.
I liked the first half.... I hated the last half
He had a great voice and did fantastic accents!
Only if they edit the story down some, good lord it had too much that didn't matter.
I don't think anyone should read it. The female character was so incredibly self-loathing that is was a disgrace. And her mom was pathetic. Truly the worst female roles I've seen in a novel that is primarily read by teenaged girls
Male narrator was ok, female narrator was as monotone as the crap she was reading.
Pretty much all the scenes where Eleanor hates herself. But then there wouldn't be anything left. Oh! That's a good thing!
I thought it told the real story of the events, based on years and years of research
Some of the ways the media lied and people just completely accepted it as truth. (shouldn't be a surprise, I guess)
Strange question for this book, isn't it?
Made me feel for the people, want to know how they are today.
Yes, I thought the narrators were amazing. The female narrator switched her tone about halfway through and was like listening to a completely different person, just like the character.
The complete change in personality of the characters.
Amazing narration, the kept me completely listening.
I know it was supposed to be an erotic novel, but the sex scenes were so ridiculously over the top that I wanted to stab myself in the face. I was driving when I listened so I couldn't do that.
Something with a plot.
Jill Redfield WAS a good narrator. Not her fault the book was the worst book I ever read. It made 50 Shades seem worthy of a Pulitzer prize for fiction
Anyone that was breathing.
The writer should be encouraged to have as much sex as she makes the characters have, and then let's see if she survives to write more trash.
Just simple little stories, but told with hilarious insights gained thru the years.
Obviously Sh*t my dad says. I wouldn't compare to David Sedaris, though I can see why people do, it's a different style.
The dad! But also the friend from little league. OMG that part had my husband and I laughing so hard we nearly crashed the car.
in the top 20
The Help or The Kitchen House. Taking place in the South...time pieces.
Her relationship with Olette
Oletta. I loved her character
It was a really great listen. Not my favorite genre, but the story kept my attention and the narrator was soooo wonderful to listen to.
the interesting portrayal of OCD and that I really wasn't sure where t was going to end.
The creepy factor.....I was surprised alot, I liked that.
The story was ridiculous. I didn't like a single person. But what was the worst part was the narrator. She had The. Most. Stacatto. Voice. Ever. and it DROVE. ME. CRAZY.
Hated this book. Didn't finish it.
Not write it
Her voice was AWFUL. Every. Word. Was. Like. A. Sentence.
