Arthur Darvill reads this exclusive audio adventure featuring the Eleventh Doctor, Amy and Rory. The TARDIS materialises in a pitch-dark tunnel, where the Doctor, Amy and Rory stumble on the dead body of a soldier. Questioned by his superior officer, Colonel Bowe, they learn that they're inside a British nuclear bunker, in the middle of an atomic war - in 1982. Amy and Rory weren't even born then, but they know the bomb didn't drop that year, and so does the Doctor.

Would you listen to Doctor Who: Day of the Cockroach again? Why?

I have to admit that I am still not the biggest fan of Matt Smith, but this episode is great! I could not stop listening and the story was very well told by Arthur Darvill. I will not let any hints out about the story and I highly recommend it if you are a Dr. Who fan like myself. I will enjoying listening to this again in the future. Enjoy!

The ice dragon was a creature of legend and fear, for no man had ever tamed one. When it flew overhead, it left in its wake desolate cold and frozen land. But Adara was not afraid. For Adara was a winter child, born during the worst freeze that anyone, even the Old Ones, could remember.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

This story started off so good and carried on very nicely, except the end, which was miserable, depressing and basically a total let-down. It had potential to be such a great story, but flopped flat on it's face. I will never listen to it again.

What could George R. R. Martin have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

    Change the ending

What three words best describe Maggi Meg Reed’s performance?

    Excellent

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Ice Dragon?

The end. I would have had the Ice Dragon live.
