"Powerful convicting stuff!"
I love books that make me examine myself. This book does that. Craig Groeschel being the narrator is great as he adds emphasis where he intends it.
"Great book by a wise man."
Very good book with lots of insight into leadership. John C Maxwell for a great job narrating.
"Great listen. A little unbelievable."
*spoiler alert*
I actually enjoyed the book quite a bit. The last hour was very fun to listen to but I thought it was unrealistic. At one point the witness on the stand pulls evidence out of his pocket.. and it's allowed? Also I found myself disliking the main character at the end of the book. I've read all of Vince Flynns books and I very much dislike people trying to disclose government secrets for personal gain which is what this main character did. So I liked the book and I'd recommend it but not if there's my Vince Flynn books you haven't read.
"Exciting but could be better"
I really liked it. Exciting plot but I felt like it ended just when it was getting good. I feel like there was a lot of potential here but it was cut a little short. Still it was a fun listen (excellent narration) and ill probably read more of Joseph Finder at some point.
"Lots of insight into dealing with heart issues"
I very much enjoyed this book. You can deal with your heart issues so much better when you understand why you feel the way you feel. He really digs into some core issues and how you can bring healing to your heart by finding those issues and bringing them to Christ.
"Very convicting"
Very convicting book. I'm reading "not a fan." by Kyle Idleman now as well and it's very much along the same lines. When are you ready to stop being a fan of Jesus and become a follower. I am ready to stop being a Christian Athiest. I do wish Groeschel would have narrated his own book but I got over it.
"Very good but to dark for me"
I know most people who love Vince Flynn/Alex Berenson books love Daniel Silva. I've read and listened to a few and while I do appreciate the realism in his books I also am a bit turned off by the darkness that tends to be in them. Also a lot of sex scenes tend to be described in his books. I leave 4 stars as I did mostly enjoy the book and I love George Guidall. 4 stars because I think he is a very talented writer but he's just not for me.
"Roller coaster ride in the fashion of Vince Flynn!"
This has been one of the best books I've listened to in a good while.I love Vince Flynn but have listened/read all of his and so I am constantly looking for other similar authors. This is Coes second book and I am excited for his third book and any future books he will write! Sometimes the political side of things can be boring in books but Coes makes even those parts very exciting in here. The narrator does a good job of keeping you captivated and using different voices for people with the same accents.
"Roller coaster ride! Great narrator!"
I'm a huge Vince Flynn fan and now I'm a Ben Coes fan. Flynn does an amazing job of having his superhero not do things out of the realm of possibility. I feel like Coes maybe let it get a little out of hand sometimes. Just a little to close to death and then JUST making it. However it didn't ruin anything for me and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the narrator and was disappointed to see he doesn't narrate the next two Coes books (which I downloaded immediately after listening to this one).
"Great story! Another win by Flynn (that rhymes)"
Great story! Plan on either reading or listening to Separation of Power immediately afterwords. If you don't then the ending to this will be a little disappointing. Basically it ends with some loose ends that need to be tied up and it is all continued in the next book. Nick Sullivan does a good job.
