this has to be the single worst audio performance in my 12+ years as an Audible customer. the narrator tries to fake a southern accent with insultingly laughable results. don't waste your time with this one.
this is a very weak effort at piling on for the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination. far too often will you hear the phrase: "a possible connection between XYZ and the military industrial complex". again, not worth the effort it took for me to download this book, would have rated it a zero, but i thought someone would think i just skipped that step.
very weak offering. this book just stopped. there was no real ending, if it was setting up for the next installment, it did a lame job of that too. stay away...
This is the worst excuse for a book I've ever downloaded from Audible. I have no idea how it got such high ratings. VERY slow to get started; doesn't get remotely interesting till midway in part two of three. Characters are so calculating and flawed it makes you want to scream.
this could be the best Audible offering i've ever listened to. an incredibly well written story about a great American.
very interesting story. reads like something from Clancy, only better. almost hard to believe that this sort of thing really happens in modern time. highly recommended.
This book never got started. It's painfully slow when it's moving and menacingly slow the rest of the time. It brought up painful memories of "Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates"; another one where the cd's got tossed in the can before anyone could borrow the book. Save your credit this month. If someone mentions this title to you, run away, run away fast.
