This release is amply peppered with laugh out loud moments. It took me about a quarter of the book to really get into it, but now I am appreciating each scene as it slides into my ears. Awesome narration!!
Actually, this book made me want to re-listen to the entire series again.
There was *never* a lull in the action, even if there was no physical action taking place. That is the beauty of this series overall.
I enjoy Ray Porter's narration immensely, so much that I am listening to other works narrated by him regardless of the actual story being told.
Absolutely. I kept trying to find household chores to do so I could keep listening!
Pinochet is the master here in this story as it's teller. However, here I find a little too much win by the bad guys and not nearly enough to balance by the good guys. Might this be the 'Two Towers' of the series?
Mr. Dempsey sucked me in and didn't let go until the very end..... 'Necropolis' stands out, by far, from the rest in the genre. It inspired me to actually rate my first book here on audible.com, after having been an active member since 2000 - I've listened to A LOT of books.
Trust me, you won't regret spending the credits!
